SPARK Celebrates the International Day of the African Child 2023

To commemorate the International Day of the African Child on the 16th of June 2023, the SPARK Nairobi team participated in a medical outreach and disability card registration event.

The team worked in collaboration with the Nairobi County, National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD), sub-county health management teams (SCHMT) and other partners. The event was held in the Baba Dogo Primary School, Ruaraka sub-county, Nairobi, and reached over 150 families previously identified through the community identification exercises with community support workers. The event helped raise awareness and service access for developmental disabilities.
